Welcome And Bagel Debate
Tim NealonI got Troy Taylor here, uh prolific paranormal author, museum owner, conference provider, like everything that you can think of. This guy has his hand in it. And we're gonna play a little bit, little game of uh goosted gauntlet. Gauntlet. Am I saying that right? Gauntlet? Sure. Gauntlet, gauntlet. Last night I heard last night I found out I said bagel wrong. Bagel? Bagel? Bagel. Like a bagel. Bagel. Bagel. It's a bagel. I don't know. There's an A in there. Yeah. It's somewhere in there. So gauntlet. God, gauntlet. Gauntlet. Gauntlet. We might have to change this name. I don't know, guys. So pivot to the paranormal pivot. All right. Paranormal. Yeah, here we go. All right, Troy. So I got 10 questions for you, real quick. Uh just answer them as in as uh quickly as you can. First thing that comes to mind. Okay. All right. Number one, what is your favorite paranormal word?
Troy TaylorWord? Is that what you said?
Tim NealonYeah, word. Um wraith. Oh, that's a good one. Okay. Number two, what's your least favorite way people try to explain paranormal phenomena? You can't answer that in one word, guys.
Troy TaylorYeah, that's not really one word. Um, hey, can I show you this picture? Yeah, absolutely. That's it. Yeah. No, that's it. Oh, okay. Can I show you this picture?
Tim NealonThat's my least favorite thing. So I was like, oh, we're gonna get uh sexy troy time here for a moment. Um all right, number three, what famous haunting fascinates you the most? Uh the bell witch. Ah, that's over in uh Kentucky. That's a good one. I haven't thought about that one for a while either. And I know you guys were like, Tim, it's supposed to be short and sweet. Shut up and keep moving. Um, number four, what paranormal phenomena scares you the most? F any?
Troy TaylorUm shit.
Tim NealonUm that's mine too, by the way.
Troy TaylorWell, I don't know. Yeah, right. Uh what scares me the most? Um, I guess it would be uh shadow people. All right. Oh, that's maybe my best answer.
Tim NealonSome of these I'm like, all right, guys, we're gonna have to talk about these. Um for example, number five, what sound do you associate associate with the parent with the supernatural? What sound? Yeah, see Troy's doing the same thing I'm doing. Like, how am I supposed to answer? What sound? Um uh Zoinks. Zoinks? Yeah, because Scooby-Doo. So touche. I think that's a good one. Um number six, what paranormal location would you most want to investigate? And I'm assuming maybe that you haven't been to. Yeah, yeah, maybe maybe you haven't been to.
Troy TaylorOh, okay. Um well, I would like to stay overnight at Alcatraz. I've been there, but I'm never at night. That's right. So that's a yeah.
Tim NealonUh number seven, what cryptid would you most want to have a beer with? Bigfoot. There we go. That's my man.
Troy TaylorOr Jackalope.
Tim NealonJackalope? Yeah. They're not real. But I love jackalopes. Well, they'd have to like you'd have to put the beer in a bowl.
Troy TaylorI well, it's all right. So we'll we'll just stick with Bigfoot.
Tim NealonAll right, Bigfoot. Yeah, there we go. Uh number eight, if a ghost followed you home, what's the first thing you'd say to it?
Troy TaylorUh, I would find out what kind of facilities they had to pay rent.
Tim NealonTouche, I think no freeloaders here. Right. Um, yeah. Number nine, if aliens landed tonight, what's the first question you'd ask them?
Troy TaylorI thought we're not supposed to talk about the government, are we? I mean, yeah, we can talk about it now. Like, could you change our government, please? So there we go. Would you kill all of our leaders? So take them away to another planet.
Tim NealonSo what might be scary is that our leaders are aliens.
Troy TaylorYeah, well, yeah, there you go. That might be the problem.
Aliens Government And The Afterlife
Tim NealonSo number 10. F the afterlife is real, what would you most like to hear when you arrive?
Troy TaylorUm, you can stay down there as long as you like. Oh, I see what you're doing. Like I I want to come back. I don't want to stay anywhere. It all seems boring. So the afterlife seems boring. So I would like to stay here on Earth. So all right.
Where To Find Troy Taylor
Tim NealonWell, talking about talking about boring, that was the Ghost City Gauntlet Gauntlet. Sit back, enjoy your bagel, and uh bagel. Well, Troy, thanks for joining us really quick on the Ghost City Gauntlet. Um if people wanted to learn more about you, do you have a website that people can go to? Where can where can they find out about more about Troy Taylor?
Troy TaylorYeah, they can go to AmericanHauntings.net and uh that'll take you uh everywhere. Uh all the places, all the things I do, books, tours, conferences, whatever. Uh that's the best clearinghouse for it.
Tim NealonSweet. You're not one of those guys that lists off 20 websites, which by the way, there's nothing wrong with that. You know, yeah, no need. If you want to find out what books I wrote, go here. If you want to find out what I'm eating tomorrow, go here. Sweet.
Troy TaylorWell, and and it is that, but at least you can get there from here. That's the whole point.
